I think this trotting out of “civil war” is a myth made up by the slimey weasel cowards in DC who don’t want to rock the boat because they don’t want to stop getting invited to the cool parties.
The very idea that there would be civil war if the usurper were publicly shown to be a criminal is ridiculous. Childish.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Alvins rubber stamp has a smiely face amongst other crazy things in the LFBC. Does adding the peace sign and the smiley face invalidate the signiture? Would that be a defense to fraud?
You know what LJ? I call it the coming violence for intimidation purposes. It might have started already with the Communist youts bullcrapping in several parts of the country. It could be contagious if no punishment is carried out.
If we cower and try to play “civilized,” they’ll win because we were “intimidated” into civility, or at least they’ll think they have carte blanche to carry on.
That may lead to something much bigger, the extent of which can be enormous.
I am not so sure of that. If he were proved to be a criminal I don’t think that alone would be enough to cause a civil war; but if he is beyond all doubt proven a criminal the way it is handled might be a different story.
I would apply that to people on both sides of the political spectrum. I think there are people that so fanatically support him that they would be willing to be violent if he is removed for any reason. I think there are people on the other side of the spectrum that may consider violence if serious charges are proven against him and he is not removed. If he were a Republican I don’t think that would be the case at all, Republicans are always forced to resign, etc. But just think of all the trouble some democrat politicians have been in and not resigned and noone made them resign.
