SARAH PALIN: Liberty Island - New York 6/1/11
SARAHPAC.COM ^ | Wednesday, June 1, 2011 | SARAH PALIN

Posted on 06/01/2011 9:03:03 AM PDT by onyx

Good morning! It's Fleet Week here in NYC and I've had the honor of meeting many Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen. Thanks to all for their service. Had a great time in the City.

Enjoyed some great NY pizza with Donald Trump and his wife last night in a nice quiet setting, Times Square.

We're getting ready to fire up the bus for another beautiful day talking to Americans about the foundations of our great nation. Check back in throughout the day.

I missed this yesturday but worth the read on Sarah’s comment concerning this change of events in Afghanistan....

New Afghanistan Development Dangerous to NATO.

by Sarah Palin on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 12:40pm
.

After learning this afternoon of Afghan President Karzai’s ultimatum to NATO concerning airstrikes, we need to consider how dangerous this new development is. While it’s always devastating to hear about civilians killed in the fight against the Taliban, President Karzai surely knows that no one works harder to eliminate civilian casualties than NATO. His public ultimatum issued today to allies and supposed friends is dangerous. What President Karzai is saying is that if we don’t severely limit our air campaign he will take “unilateral action.” And he further says that if the airstrikes continue we will be seen as an “occupying” power. This is an indirect way of saying that American and NATO forces will be fair game, which is obviously an unacceptable situation that threatens our troops. His comments reflect the reality that there is a growing divide between NATO and the Karzai government. Let us be clear: we are in Afghanistan fighting for the Afghan people and for the security of our country and our allies. If President Karzai continues with these public ultimatums, we must consider our options about the immediate future of U.S. troops in his country. If he actually follows through on his claim that Afghan forces will take “unilateral action” against NATO forces who conduct such air raids to take out terrorists and terrorist positions, that should result in the immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan and the suspension of U.S. aid. I still firmly support our mission in Afghanistan, but we must have the support of the host government. Our troops’ mission will be compromised and their safety endangered if the Afghan government threatens us.

Morning...

Since I have already been labeled a closet Sarah Sycophant, may as well make it official.

Please add me to your ping list...

Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during the chat with Trump!

I’ve said before and will again ~ Sarah Palin is crazy like a fox.

I didn’t see it somehow. Thanks.

I was impressed with her response to Karzi’s statements. There’s a limit where a line must be drawn in the sand...to coin Bush...”either you are for us or against us”. Karzi appears to want to go it without us and in fact turn on us unless we comply. So I agree with Sarah...pull out and stop the money flow if he’s going to play that game.

Trouble is if we aren’t there then Iran will surely sweep in in no time flat...not to mention their thugs..Taliban...and the nation will go back to what is was before...tribes fighting until one takes over and trashes the country all over again..not to mention hbecoming a harbor for the Taliban again.

Sarah Palin is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN

Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama isn't!

The view from Libery Island of NY harbor and lower Manhattan is quite stunning and yet infuriating, due to 2 buildings which are no longer there.

We Social Conservatives must hold out for Either or Both Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann on the Republican ticket in 2012.

Am familiar with Karnow-Vietnam...but Afghanistan is not the same...nor is our leadership as at that time. Let alone the public mood.

Afghanistan is part of the War on Terror...which as long as there are ME terrorists bent on destroying America this war will be ongoing. Additionally wit h the ME uprisings we have to remain steady until this thing plays out.

Although photos such as this are fun...for us. It’s this very type of photo which democrates use to show her as a sexual bombshell redneck bimbo.

She has come way beyond this depiction now...though still playful and the Sarah we love...even she is far more careful about what she is seen as in order not to feed the press with their agenda to destroy her visual appearances.

Michelle Obama has tried in vain to get the American people to accept her ....her attire does not help this at all. So appearances do matter for our Representation of a First Lady.

I have no doubt Sarah will play this role exceptionally well..she already does. And I love the current photos of her....ob her tour. She dresses every event and place perfectly.

Wow. This is a pretty substantial statement on Afghanistan, and I like it. She said yesterday, I believe, that her views on foreign policy have been evolving. I like it: strongly supportive of Israel, but strongly reluctant to continue the bleeding of treasure and lives for nastily pro-terrorist Islamists in the Middle East.

Thanks for the post. My wife & I were wondering where they went for pizza. Glad to see that Trump steered her to Famiglia! My wife & I always lunch there when we go to the city for a matinee. Absolutely the best pizza ever!
