When looking at the big picture, I don’t think social issues are that important to governments.

Most of the problems that the government is trying to “fix” are caused by the moral decay of America. Social issues SHOULD be important to government.

"I dont think social issues are that important to governments."
Is that a joke. Let's see...
Abortion-Fund it through the taxpayer
Age of consent--Government lowers it
Affirmative action--Government bestows tax breaks
Capital punishment--Government bans/endorses the practice
Disability rights--Government subsidies
Divorce--Government creates No fault madness
Environmentalism---EPA, ROTFLMAO how much does that end up costing the tax payer (Again are you serious?)
Gay rights/Aids funding--Government $$$...
I could go on and on, just laying out all the programs of LBJ's Great Society would destroy your argument... I am just flabbergasted at that post.

When looking at the big picture, I dont think social issues are that important to governments. You're kidding right? Goobermints love social issues. It's what allows them to bilk trillions from the masses and keep them otherwise occupied while they "play" behind the curtain. How else could we be 14 trillion fiat dollars in debt?!

.
Nonsense.
Without government support, the DD up, DD down, ‘diversity’ agenda would have died 50 years ago.
