Fox News Uses An Image of Tina Fey To Portray Governor Palin
Shey.com ^ | Sunday June 5, 2011 | Sheya

Last week in a post titled: With Friends Like Fox News Palin Is Better Off With Her Enemies, we reported on how Fox News is out to take down Governor Palin. We wrote (Emphesis added):

Fox wants Palin out but they don’t want to suspend her contract because by doing so they’ll be conceding that she’s a serious contender. Fox won’t do anything that would lend her credibility. They just want her to resign. The tactic now is to makePalin’s life as difficult and as miserable as possible until Palin just gets frustrated and leaves on her own citing irreconcilable differences. Things are going to get worse. Fox is about to up the ante and it’s going to get ugly.

Later that day we noted on how quick Fox News was to up the ante:

After meeting with Governor Palin yesterday Fox decided to up the ante today. Talking to Carl Cameron on his show today, Shepard Smith announced that fox will now be referring to Governor Palin as “Contributor Palin”.

Today Fox took it a step further with another blunder. In a news bulletin during Shannon Bream’s show, Fox News used a photo of Tina Fey to portray Governor Palin instead of a real one of the Governor.

Now I can see how this could have been an unintentional blunder. But with all that Fox has been accused of lately in relation to it’s treatment of Governor Palin, and with them trying to argue that all those accusations just happen to be a string of coincidences, you would assume they would be extra vigilant.

Furthermore, organizations like Fox News have their images filed, organized and well tagged. So what was a photo of Tina Fey doing filed under “Sarah Palin”?

Good catch.

I may have been confused in posting #56 where I suspected it was pissant. It very well could be Franzie.

I quit watching Fox News some time ago.

They aren't much better than any of the others, and often spend way too much time on fluff pieces. And when they do have someone interesting to interview, it ends up being 2 or 3 questions (that were already answered previously, ad nauseum) and then it's off to another stupid fluff piece.

My news comes from more reliable places. Like FreeRepublic!

I sampled Fox News when it finally became available in Canada a few years ago and I agree with you. It was not part of the basic cable package so you had to pay extra for it and it was dropped forthwith. Canada has until recently had 2 24 hour cable news channels. CBC (outright communist) and CTV (typical msm style). Recently Sun News arrived and it seems unabashedly conservative. More like conservative talk radio on tv than a news broadcast. It is naturally focused on Canadian news but it is worth a look and can be viewed online here. http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/watch-live.html

Voting for a third party or not voting at all was the same as voting for Obama.

Voting for Mitt Romney falls into that category too. Mitt is a big government socialist. He may move more slowly in that direction than Obama would, but what he would do to our country is not substantively different from Obama's regime. I'll vote for Palin, Cain, Bachmann, Demint, not necessarily in that order, or for any of the other qualified conservatives, but I will vote third party before I vote Romney.

Touchy are we? Sorry to see that Sunday was such a bad day for ya. Hypersensitivity and unnecessary aggression are generally signs of serious psychotic issues, like runpaulnutism. There must be some clinical name for the disorder where someone latches onto the bandwagon of the unbalanced fringe, knowing its really not going anywhere.

It is rather enjoyable pouring salt on slugs, just to watch em juice up and squirm. Feel free to expand yo sagpants act, although darn few are surprised by the ever expanding exhibition or give you nutz much credence any longer.

agree. But rarely has a candidate, other than Quayle, given them so much ammo.

Incorrect. The State Run Media has CREATED much of this.

•The Constitution is based on the Bible. It would take a fool to deny that.

Indeed, a biblical fool.

wow, I wonder if this was a Palin hating techie that snuck the pic in....

This was my first thought. For too many years my neighborhood tavern on NYC's Upper West Side had a core client base of bit part actors, techies, publishing folk and the occasional celebrity.

By far the union techies were dumber than a bowl of mice and as mean spirited as the union thug stereotype. The video editors in particular relished telling of how they paid back on camera prima donas and how the covered their tracks.

Touchy are we?
Not at all. Just exposing your liberal debate tactics.
You're trying to "injure me" and it's comical in its ineffectiveness.
You're funny with your small arsenal of nothing more than ad hominem responses.
How have you made it this long here without getting the zot?

So...aaaaaanyway...back to what got me started.

You just like to start shit, don't you.

Which is it you're lacking? The time or the will?

And I note with amusement that you don't even acknowledge your lack of knowledge...to wit...

Of course you have some tangible evidence to back up your assertion. Right?

Answering that question must have been what really set you off. Right?
I'll be expecting your usual inept reply instead of an admission of your own ignorance.
You really didn't expect any answer to your question did you? Just BS your way through like usual.

Let’s see, how many assinine replies have you posted reference to a simple straightforward question to another poster?

Obviously, even though it may indeed be comical, by your reactions, it is far from ineffective.

Come on , say ronpaul three times without snickering.

It's the simple fact that you asked the question to begin with that should concern you.
You obviously had a problem with the premise being presented so you attempted a hatchet job just like you're attempting to do now, and like you have in the past, with me. You didn't expect anyone to be able to back up such a supposition. You baited somebody and got caught with your own hook.
You're as transparent as Saran Wrap. You've got nothing of substance so you resort to liberal, radical Alinsky tactics.

Do keep replying. You're a one poster crash course for exposing such antics.

How many replies will it take for you to say..."Well how about that! I didn't know that had happened." instead of just slinging mud?
I don't expect such from you, only more of your old, tired, trite BS.

White House Memo... (must be out there somewhere)

Message to all White House Staffers, the DNC, Democrats in Congress and nationwide.

NEWS FLASH - NEWS FLASH - NEWS FLASH

Do not refer to, raise the issue, or otherwise remind anyone at all, that we have an ongoing war with FoxNews.

Let me be clear, we didn’t lose that war! We’d just like to let folks forget we’re still fighting it.

That is all...

END OF NEWS FLASH - END OF NEWS FLASH

You really to get a grip, buddy. Your reply count keeps growing like a weed.

Seems too easy to ID ronpaulnutz.

Sorry to learn how easy it is to get your goat as “some” of those ronpaul ideas were worth pursuing.
