Now, she's right on this one. Illegal aliens, felons, dead people all are more likely to vote for Democrats than for Republicans.
Yeah, if the Democrats really want to bring up the history of Jim Crow, segregation, dogs and firehoses, slavery, and the Civil War, the Republicans should loudly and constantly remind everybody exactly which political party was behind it all. And link it to the same political party whose policies keep blacks intentionally poor, uneducated, unemployed and confined to urban ghettos.
Question to DNC Chair: Don’t you all have a record to run on or something?
My thoughts exactly when I read the headline. You can't buy a better example of the lack of depth of thinking on the left.
"Caricature, misrepresentation, and one-sidedness appear to belong in propaganda."
"Ridicule and fear, then, are two components of propaganda that are indispensable to its success."
"If one reverses the principles of the intelligent, well-meaning intellectual, he will have the secret of effective propaganda."
"Believe completely in your cause, do not shrink from powerful emotions, unceasingly hammer the same thoughts into the minds of the masses."
Quotes taken from "Propaganda and National Power: The Organization of Public Opinion for National Politics" by Eugen Hadamovsky 1933
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
Apparently, it seeps through the skin as well.
I say we don’t “refute” what this woman says, but AMPLIFY every idea that she lets leak out of her mouth.
To defeat the left, EXPOSE the left.
She’s peddling this line to black Democrats, many of whom already unfortunately believe it. Republicans supported the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. The civil rights struggle was primarily between two halves of the Democratic Party.
I remember attending a rally in Nov 2000 in support of Bush,
and a black democrat came by and was arguing with everyone.
He was very sincere in his belief that Republicans wanted to reinstitute black slavery.
There was a time when the GOP understood that calling a liberal a liberal was highly effective way to marginalize them, and democrats ran from the label. Now they embrace the term, even as its clearer than ever liberal/progressive policies are destroying the nation. Because the GOP refuses to 'namecall' preferring to take the 'highroad' for fear of appearing 'meanspirited'.
Meanwhile the democrats are going nucking futs flinging every ridiculous cliched charge at their opponents they can think of. They do because its effective.
Not to put too fine a point on it but it was the Republicans who freed the slaves and the democrats who founded the KKK, introduced legal segregation and wrote the Jim Crow laws. And, as a percentage of members, republicans provided more support in congress for the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Just another day in the life of this silly RAT. IIRC she insisted that the health care deform act does not contain a mandate.
“Is this really the message President Obama wants his appointee sending?”
Yes.. you racist white cracker. It’s Obama’s America now and he can do anything that he wants.
Seriously, is there anyone in the Democrat Party that is sane? Anyone?
Weren’t the “Jim Crow” laws all put in place by Democrats? Why would Democrats speak against them now?
Yeah. We want to drag democrats back to the very laws we dragged them away from 50 years ago, kicking and screaming.
Riiiiight.
The Summer of Civility begins. /sarc
Funny that she mentioned blocking access to voting booths...
did she see the pictures of the Black Panthers in 2008?
Oh, but Debbie Wasserman Hyphen Shultx dear, YOU are the ones trying to drag all of us back to the days of building pyramids without straw.
A Democrat ought to know Jim Crow laws...Democrats started them!
Blacks are stupid for following the very party that kept them as slaves.
