A new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows President Obama’s approval rating, which increased in the wake of the killing of Osama bin Laden last month, has dropped back to the same level it was before one of the most important events of Obama’s presidency. The poll shows Obama is in a dead heat with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney in a potential match-up (49 percent for Romney to 46 for the president).

I am adding another to the list:

At this point in his Presidency the economy was growing at 6.5% under Ronald Reagan. It is growing at 1.8% under Obama.

All imsaying is we need to focus on getting obama out of office and support whoever the gop primary voters nominate.

I will vote for Sarah is she ruins, then cain, and then bachmann in that order for gop primary, but if they dont win, I am still going to do whatever I can to get barry the hell out of there.

Does this mean that Obama has a more conservative approach to economic recovery than Reagan? /sarc

Maybe I shouldn’t have said this.

It’ll probably be part of Obama’s next teleprompter speech.......”A conservative, long term, lasting approach to economic recovery!”.

You heard it here first.

I consider anyone on this site as willing to stay home next November as no better than the most psychotic lib marching to the Hope & Change drum beat for obama.

And I consider anyone willing to vote for Romney as no better than a lib, because that is who you will be voting for. Don't give me this 100% strawman crap. If the Republican candidate, whomever it is, is willing to go more in the conservative direction than liberal, I'll vote for them. I guess that would make me a 50.1%er. Romney, however, is NOT A CONSERVATIVE. In fact, he may have more success with moving this country to the left with a Republican congress than Obama would.

Translation: With >40% approval, consistently, after twenty-eight months of him trying to destroy the country, America is doomed.

I think all the "approval gap" crap is absurd.

It DOES NOT MATTER how many Americans "strongly disapprove" of Obama, unless that number is where it should be (>90%).

What is CRITICAL is that the "approve + strongly approve" numbers are way too high, taking into consideration that some of the "disapprove" numbers disapprove because we don't have full communism already.

This is going to end badly, however you slice it.

Fine stay home and pout if he wins. I dont want him as my pick, but if he wins the nomoination by, GOP PRIMARY VOTERS, than it is what it is.

Did you stay home in 2000 and 2004 and 2008?

So, the choice not to vote for a liberal who will damage this country is pouting? No, I didn't stay home in previous elections and didn't say I would stay home in 2012. But I refuse to be complicit in the further erosion of our rights, in the further socialization of our country, the further weakening of our economy, and in the further destruction of the founding principles of our Republic. I will work, instead, to make sure that conservatives are elected in the House and Senate to oppose the liberal policies of the Executive Branch, Obama's or Romney's.

If that, through some tortured stretch of logic, makes me less of a conservative, or is labeled as pouting, then consider my arms crossed and bottom lip firmly stuck out.

Negative, the point Coulter made is that conservatives (i.e., Tea Party) won't support Romney. His nomination will almost guarantee a third party candidate and the resulting Perot effect. If the GOP pushes through Romney as their hand-picked candiate, Obama will win re-election in 2012 because of conservative split. Too bad, I did voted for McCain but won't vote for Romey. No more of that crap.

that would be me then. if they want my vote they better put up someone decent. if we are willing to vote for any tom, dick or benedict that they put up, why would they ever try harder?
