As long as phone is not making noises, what exactly is wrong with texting in a movie theater? Just how is it distracting to someone else?
How about I shine a flash light in your face the next time you try to watch a movie and we'll see how annoying it is?

Exactly.
If it’s that important to text someone in the middle of a movie, why are you in the movie theater in the first place?
Texting during a movie is one of my biggest pet peeves with the movie theater experience.
