Casey Anthony's murder trial was cut short today when she was taken ill after pictures of her dead daughter's skull were shown.
Anthony cried and looked away as graphic photos of her two-year-old daughter Caylee's remains were shown to the jury at the trial in Orlando. Judge Belvin Perry had warned anyone who might become queasy to leave the courtroom before the images were displayed.
Shortly after the images were shown he sent the jury home for the day, asking them not to speculate about why court was ending early.
Earlier in the day Anthony's brother, Lee, testified his sister had told him a nanny abducted her daughter because she didn't think the 25-year-old was a good mother.
Anthony dabbed her eyes with a tissue as a series of images revealed how pieces of duct tape were still attached to her daughter's remains.
She is on trial accused of murdering little Caylee in June 2008, before hiding her body in the woods near her home. Caylee's remains were not found until December that year.

I watched it, and may have the timeline off, but I thought the jury saw the testimony, but they had a recess, and it was during/after the recess, that Casey became “ill.”
Minor point, but the trial is in Clearwater. Change of venue.
What a great photo of a beautiful child. My apologies for to Casey for the joking matter regarding the circumstances of her death. My one hope is that the chloroform did the trick and that she did not suffer.
I wonder if her mom looked at her, and that photo, and ever thought of her as the beautiful child that she is? How sad. Thanks for posting that somehow amazing photo to me. Makes you wonder what she was thinking when it was taken, what might have been, etc. The fun she had when she got the “tattoo” on her hand.
Oh, I’m sure she employed dramatics in this trial. But I’m not convinced that seeing these photos did not horrify her. Think about it.
In her mind, she probably pushed reality as far from her thinking as she could.
But when your baby’s skull, her socketless eyes, are staring at you from a big screen, and the duct tape that you remember putting on her mouth is holding up her rotten jaw along with her decomposing hair...
You CAN’T say that you know that wasn’t a horrifying sight, even to a coldblooded murderer.

The jury did see it so you are right.
I am glad someone besides me noticed her not wanting to mess up her eye makeup. Unlike her mother who doubled over crying and had no eye makeup left from crying while listening to her call to have the police arrest her evil daughter.
Casey didn’t even attempt to bury her like she did her pets in that same place. She just threw her away in trash bags (double bagged).
I can’t even imagine.
She even left the syringe with chloroform residue in it at the site where the remains were found. Too bad a syringe full of chloroform and some Gorilla brand—let’s not mess around—duct tape aren’t awaiting her at the conclusion of this trial.
Adjourning this trial because she was ill today was her biggest manipulation yet. What doctor said she was ill? Plenty of people probably felt ill after the photos today—why should the proceedings adjourn because the one person most likely to have created this horror doesn’t feel up to it?
Casey is a Narcissistic Machiavellian Psychopath, not a Sociopath. She is a text book case if you study her behavior and watch the interviews she has done and so on. My ex could have been her twin. Same type of pathological lies too. I feel I have a pretty good feel for what Casey is like since I have much experience dealing with this personality disorder. If you read the jail house letters you see she is human and not just some ice cold “evil” person. She has serious issues, a major personality disorder. Casey see’s the world in a very different way than a “normal” person. The way she see’s it Caylee is dead so just let her go on with her life of partying and looking for “mr. right”.
Of course she is guilty as can be and continues her fabricated lies in the face of facts but that is what makes the trial fascinating.
I still don’t think she killed Caylee on purpose, I think she drugged the kid to go to sleep and came back and it was dead. Perhaps the duct tape was to keep her from screaming if she woke up before Casey came back. It wouldn’t be the first case of a mother doing this sort of thing so she could go out and party. The cover up was what came after that. It isn’t very hard to get away with murder if you plan it out and use your head - this case is very sloppy with evidence left behind and the body dumped blocks from where she used to live. This doesn’t look planned out to me. She didn’t even bother to line her trunk with plastic..anyone who watches movies would at least know to do that. She could have dumped the body in the glades, torched the car and reported it stolen..act all upset (since she is a master liar and actor) and she easily would have gotten away with it. Just another missing kid. Think about that, why didn’t she do it that way if she just wanted to kill off her daughter? It leaves reasonable doubt in my mind.
Since they can’t prove the cause of death she won’t get the death penalty..more likely life in prison. The really amazing part is why doesn’t she come clean and say yes I drugged my kid and killed her by mistake and cry and be all upset like a normal mother - then she would just get manslaughter - but of course a Narcissistic Psychopath will never admit to something they did wrong which is why we have this crazy trial!

Right. The chloroform was found in a hypodermic needle. “I am confident my decision was correct” said her diary. The duct tape was wide enough to cover both her nose and her mouth.
Accept her for the monster the evidence says she is. If you never intended to kill your daughter with the chloroform, why delete the searches?

Maybe. Maybe not. Peterson's been on death row for over 6 years as I'm sure many other inmates have. To those who claim the death penalty is not a deterrent to murder, I say, "No wonder!" What percentage of those who get the death penalty actually get that punishment?
My belief at this point is that Casey will not get the death penalty. Just my guess. Even if she does, though, she'll sit in prison for years.
They found “traces” of Chloroform in the syringe, also there was Testosterone found in it too so I’m not sold that it is part of the murder. It sounds more likely to have been a juice heads trash. For example, if you get some 4-AD(readily available online):
1. Buy some Manganese Dioxide powder, and some chloroform,,[Or acetone if you can’t find the chloroform].
2. Dissolve the manganese dioxide in the chloroform
3. Add your 4-AD to the batch, and voila! You have your testosterone.
That is a cheap way to make Test if you can’t afford the real deal. There is simply no reason what so ever Casey would have Test.
Are we expected to believe Casey not only made Chloroform but also was able to buy Test? From who? No one has come forward and said anything about the Test so far and I have yet to see evidence she knew anyone who could procure any. From my research only Tony’s friends were connected to the drug scene and that is a whole other world away from people who can hook up Test. Tony’s friends were slinging Zanny bars, E, weed, coke..the usual. Nothing exotic. There really is no reason to inject Chloroform and if you research it online you won’t find any info on injecting it for killing purposes. Casey has mentioned Chloroform to two people that I know of from listening to police interviews, so its obvious she either bought some, got it from her mom or made it. However I think she was using it to put the kid to sleep(and supposedly admitted this to a cell mate in jail) as I’ve read she had trouble getting Caylee to sleep and of course no one can stop Casey from going out partying right?
She deleted all her search history, just like anyone would with searching for nefarious info, or porn or whatever. So nothing shocking there.
I just don’t see evidence of her planning this out. Perhaps the prosecution has something else up their sleeve..we’ll see.
What I am most confused by is why the defense isn’t addressing Casey’s obvious mental issues. To me that is the biggest factor in this case. She is unstable and has major personality disorders but that is being completely ignored.
No person who is even remotely “normal” would even think to sedate their child so they could go out partying however I don’t view her as some kind of evil monster. When I think of evil I think of serial killers, or Hitler, Mao and so on. Casey surely does not compare to that. Just my opinion...
Casey Anthony is a textbook sociopath, thoroughly incapable of remorse, sympathy, or empathy of any kind. To make matters worse (if possible) she is a lousy actress.

Very possibly. She may have just removed this child entirely from her mind. If that is the case, then her LOOKING at this little skull with vines running through it is a justice in a sense as well. Sometimes a picture is worth a 1,000 words!

I’m not over-analyzing this but the way she disposed of her little girl’s body speaks volumes to me. We had more of a “funeral” and respect for a dead hamster than this woman did for that little girl.
