Casey Anthony's murder trial was cut short today when she was taken ill after pictures of her dead daughter's skull were shown.

Anthony cried and looked away as graphic photos of her two-year-old daughter Caylee's remains were shown to the jury at the trial in Orlando. Judge Belvin Perry had warned anyone who might become queasy to leave the courtroom before the images were displayed.

Shortly after the images were shown he sent the jury home for the day, asking them not to speculate about why court was ending early.

Earlier in the day Anthony's brother, Lee, testified his sister had told him a nanny abducted her daughter because she didn't think the 25-year-old was a good mother.

Anthony dabbed her eyes with a tissue as a series of images revealed how pieces of duct tape were still attached to her daughter's remains.

She is on trial accused of murdering little Caylee in June 2008, before hiding her body in the woods near her home. Caylee's remains were not found until December that year.

FWIW, clinically nuts and legally nuts are two different things. You can be the former and still not be the latter if you knew the diff between right and wrong when you committed the crime. Seems to me a legally nuts defense went up in smoke when the deleted search history was found on the computer. Granted the defense could still allege that she was legally nuts three months later, but apparently Baez isn't that stupid.

So lessee, a needle in the exact spot of the body was from another source, even though it contained chloroform. Casey lied about squirrels in the undercarriage to lie about the decomp odor. She duct taped Caylee all the way around her head including the hair just so she couldn’t scream if she awoke. She would wash the adhesive out of her hair each morning and..........NONSENSE!!!!! She is as evil as anything I have ever witnessed on this earth.

I initially thought the tape might have been to silence Caylee had she woken from her Chloroform induced sleep. But the amount of tape now makes me think it was postmortem; it wasn’t intended to be removed.

It does to me too. I can't imagine what she could have been thinking and honestly don't want to.

I agree. I don’t think she will be able to EVER erase that horrible image from her mind. Ever.

What purpose would the tape be wrapped around postmortem? Why wrap her head with it postmortem?

But if you had first injected or had her inhale chloroform, and had decided not to break her neck, it would make sense that she wrapped the head thoroughly to ensure suffocation.

The last thing this little angel knew in her short life was pain and terror. No love, no help, no hope. Why does God allow things like this to happen to the innocent?

What I was thinking of was the pain it would have created removing the tape. It wasn’t intended to be temporary is what I was thinking. I can’t imagine any person would do this that didn’t involve death as the end result.
