I’m guessing the answer is no—Steve Jobs and geniuses at Apple will release the iPhone 5 (or the iPad 3) whenever they are damn well ready. Until then, I guess we will all be left drooling and craving.
Now back to Barack. The President of the United State loves his technology and for many years fanned out over his trusty BlackBerry. But things have changed—Obama now is ready to join the cult of Apple. That’s right—Barack Obama wants an iPhone. I don’t blame him. I was a BlackBerry devotee for years.Then the iPhone came out. I was jealous, but patient—I needed to fulfill my cell phone company’s contract for my BB. When my contracted ended, I made the leap and haven’t looked back. According to BusinessInsider.com:
At a Chicago fundraiser President Obama was heard making the following comment about his BlackBerry: “The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff. I’m like, c’mon guys, I’m the president of the United States. Where’s the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen? It doesn’t happen.”
Is the President’s remark an aberration? I don’t think so. It’s part of an overall public shift in the device’s market perception. A survey conducted by online market researchers Crowd Science in March 2010 revealed that 39 percent of BlackBerry owners would definitely or probably switch to an iPhone once their subscriptions expired. Why? Because BlackBerry devices have acquired a perception of being too serious and too business oriented and lacking a fun factor—which is the very dimension driving the current surge of consumer infatuation with smartphones.
So the jury is out. The BlackBerry is no longer infatuating consumers, which is a dangerous but predictable transition.
So Obama isn’t the only one who’s over his BlackBerry. His timing is perfect—rumors are circulating about the iPhone 5 debuting this year. According to gadgetsandgizmos.org:

On a positive note, the President wanting an iPhone might put pressure on Apple to make it an open platform available for all the major and regional carriers (Bluegrass Cellular + iphone, that would be awesome). AT&T and Verizon suck!!!
I’m sick of my Blackberry too, Barry. But, your destruction of the economy makes it hard to justify buying a new Android. You should create a “program” that gives me a free Android.

Let’s see...Fascism is basically statism with dictatorship and a cache of favored companies controlling the people. Check to all those affirmatively. We have Google, Apple, GE, GM, Goldman Sachs...which others are the controlling companies?
Pray hard, expectantly, trust God and let Him do his work to right this ship. We have to follow through.
Our prayers need to include stopping Obama and communism from replacing God as the provider...government is god in our country right now...look at all the poor on the corners of cities...that’s their power base, and the citizenry and illegal citizenry don’t even realize that’s not how it is supposed to be and they blame Republicans. Good grief.

He knows what an iPhone is because it’s a bright and shiny gadget designed to satisfy shallow and foolish herd-people—just like him.
But, he probaby thinks that “Freedom”, “Responsibility”, and “Work” are ice cream flavors.

this effin’ guy is a child. Golf, iPhones, basketball, chillin at Camp David, White House parties....those are his priorities. What an idiot we can’t get rid of him soon enough.
