Like it or not, Romney is leading all the Republican primary candidate polls.
Romney always does well in polls (see last election) but it doesn’t translate to votes. In the 08 election, he was almost always near the top, just like Rudy. We see what happened to them then.
Polls right now are nothing but name recognition. Only die hards like us are paying attention. Ask Rudy, Hillary, or Dean, just to name the ones in the past two cycles.
Romney could be a contender, but it isi unlikely. He has never been able to win ove the electorate. Hell, he couldn’t even run for reelection in MA.
