He could have started pronouncing it “Winer” and gotten that off his back, unlike a guy I met years ago who was named Al Shitsky......THAT poor sap was backed into a corner for life.
I had a client one who was named Ben Dover. My receptionist answered the phone one day and aked for me....when she asked who was calling, he said Ben Dover....she hung up on him.....
