Lucky you.
Texas is not open carry (believe it or not), and I don’t want to spook anyone...

The only flash you’ll see from my carry piece is when it goes off.

This is just a bill to protect those who CCW and accidentally “flash” their weapon when the bend over or reach up to get something. Their CCW weapon might show, and that’s enough for some shitbird cops to detain or arrest them.

I like the bill and understand the implications.
Sometimes my snark doesn’t go over well at Free Republic. ;)

Unzipping and flashing now legal.. This is my weapon, this is my gun, one is for-———————LOL
To: WoofDog123
That’s the way I see it. To an anti-gun right LEO, even mentioning the fact you’re carrying would constitute brandishment.

the law was created to cover those temporary incidents where you reach for your wallet and the firearm is exposed for an instant.
This “journalist” (deep disrespect intentional) is just misreporting.

Leaving your piece in your car has been approved too, as long as you have a concealed-carry permit.
I don't understand this part. It's been legal to have a gun in your car in Florida, for as long as I can remember.

Youll win, but it could cost you thousands. That's not better than losing your right to carry concealed, because some crusading soccer mom saw your piece "print" through your shirt?
To: poobear
Sorry I missed it.
I think my beeber is stuned.
