Breeding his pure bred dog? What the Hell was his dog doing out or accessible while in heat?
Pedigreed, documented bred dog. I don't find recessive gene expression to be "pure".

Exactly. Males from miles around will do anything, ANYTHING, to try and get to her. She should have been confined indoors or spayed.
