I guess I’m a criminal then. But my kids’ spankings pale in comparison to what my dad dished out.

My mother used to use a wooden paddle or the end of a metal fly swatter on our rear ends when my brothers and I deserved it. Over our formative years we pulled some doozies!
I have thanked her countless times since then and I would like to believe being punished when I deserved it has made me a better person.
