I had just started watching Columbo on Netflix. RIP. One of my favorite shows! The first show/movie I recall seeing him is was Mad Mad World, where he was one of the cab drivers.

I had read that he wasn’t well, had had a stroke or something. I am a huge Columbo fan (Princess Bride too!) Recently watched Falk in Murder Inc playing a bad guy. Very charming talent. RIP Lt. Columbo!

Loved him in "The Great Race"! I fashioned my Grandfatherly form after watching "The Princess Bride."

I have both films on the rack so I'll be watching one tonight.

Adios Colombo!

RIP Peter. We’ll miss you.

I remember him in that movie too. I think the next one I remember seeing him in was “The Great Race” with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon, and Natilie Woods.

Very sorry to hear that. He made a movie called Roommates here in Pittsburgh about fifteen years ago. Highly underrated.
