Who would you recommend to take the lead, or be involved in attempting to get our national budget under control? I don’t see a very large or strong bullpen, but I’d love to have some names of people to watch.

Unfortunately, only some of the Freshmen are free of RINO and big spending histories. Allen West is a great example and has potential to be a leader. There are a few others. Michele Bachmann claims to be the "TEA Party Caucus leader, but I'm not 100% sure she isn't an attempt to co-opt the movement for the Repubican party.
Too many Republican partisans are not committed to actual conservative principles and TEA Party values. Rather, they want our votes to enable them to have more power for the Republican Party. Boehner and Cantor are excellent examples of this. Unfortunately, so are most candidates who received significant contributions in their primary battles from any "Leadership PACs" associated with major Republican leaders like Boehner, Cantor, Hensarling, and the rest. The "Republican leadership" is still mostly Party over principle, and will be willing to compromise if it gains them power.
