China (like Russia) wants the turkey to be re-elected, to be their patsy for four more years. They will keep the muzzle on Kimmy & his successor.
Kim does not always toe China’s line. He wants to force China to intercede and pressure SK or U.S. to appease NK and stay quiet for a while. This has been a pattern for some time and he is doing it again, by talking belligerently right after his trip to China, where Chinese were said to have told Kim to be ‘more flexible,’ when dealing with S. Korea.
Pretty much. I can think of no one they would rather have in the White House.
