Glock?
...and remember that unloading a gun involves more than removing the magazine.
But, who the hell ever pulls the trigger of any gun, loaded or supposedly unloaded while it is pointed at an innocent’s face?
This is at the very least a case of negligence, and more likely a case of attempted murder.
>said the gun accidentally discharged, striking Lori Anne Jestes in the face.<
Yup, another ‘gun cleaning accident’..
Dumb ass.
“I am the ONLY one in this room qualified” moment!
"...He was the only person in that room professional enough to handle the Glock .40 pistol..."
Life imitates Tarantino.
I am always amazed by gun cleaning accidents. Whenever I unload one of my firearms, for cleaning or any reason, I always dump the mag, cycle the action to catch the one in the pipe, and then count the rounds. Cycle the action another time or two, then break it down. Call me paranoid.
If I’m the detective assigned to this case I’m asking a lot of questions about this gun cleaning accident.
“Charles Hendrix was cleaning his Glock .40 caliber handgun”
Well, that is interesting...cleaning a loaded handgun?????
Drop the magazine, pull the slide back and look to make sure there's nothing in the pipe, point at the floor, even though you know it's empty, and pull trigger.
Who has ever handled pistols wouldn't do this?
I really mean how could you not do this knowing what a pistol can do?
I’m glad we have The Only Ones competent enough to wield firearms.
If either the shooter or the victim were not a cop, he or she would be in big legal trouble now.
I have yet to see a gun, any gun, accidentally discharge itself. Someone MUST pull or squeeze the trigger. Guns don’t go off by themselves. If the gun is being holstered, than take your freakin finger off the trigger, which it shouldn’t be held like that anyway. Finger goes on the trigger ONLY when you are ready to shoot at the target. In this case, the cop is an idiot... I would bet he is demoRAT and a union member.
I guess there was a valid reason Andy made Barney keep the bullet in his pocket.
Should the police really be handling firearms?
