“SARAH is the only one to get our country turned around - that’s a given.” The others, it may not be the end of the world, but a slower end of America the Beautiful.”

This is the type of statement that denigrates those actually putting themselves out there and running. She is NOT the “only one.” That gives short shrift to people like Cain and Bachmann.

I’ll be thrilled with Cain, Palin or Bachmann and while I may give some zealous supporters a potfull of crap, I like all three of these people a lot and will not insult one in order to make another look good.

Sounds like PC to me.

Liking someone has nothing to do with the job at hand. It's not a popularity contest. If you think those three are the same, keep believing it. It's not my intention to change your mind - if the facts can't - neither can I. Those that know Sarah is the right one came by it on their own revelation - not anyone else's.

"...some of her supporters, on this very forum are winning her no converts and might be turning undecided people off..."

Certainly if we were to judge these folks by their fruits, they would be seen as anti-Palin.

I love Sarah! Her biggest flaw might just be her biggest fans. Fatal Attraction was a fine movie, but I could not watch it for sixteen months without Fatal Revulsion kicking in.

Folks simply can NOT be judged as 'serious' defenders of Freedom and constitutional government if they say ridiculous things like: "SARAH is the only one to get our country turned around - that’s a given."

Good Lord, that is pathetic. And I mean that in the actually-evokes-sympathy definition. As important as this election has become and as hell-fire sure as these folks are that only "The One" conservative deliverer can save us, I have sympathy for them.

I would not be able to sleep at night if my politics and the whole nation's future were entirely based on a deliverer's well-being. Sarah is WAY too active. Her gun might jam and she could be eaten by wolves. The bus tour might get too close to Grand Canyon. She could be bent down over her ice fishing hole and get run over by Todd driving the sled team home with groceries. She might catch her death of cold up there and develop NewMonia. Who know?

What would we do ? America would be doomed!!!

My theory on the rabid RollinsPhobes is that they are actually him using a handful of handles. Either that or their hatred for him is just so literally mind-numbing that their brains are freed to concoct fantastical mystical conspiracies and unseen alliances... despite the fact that doing so only helps Rollins seem more correct.

Regarding the topic at hand, its seems Bristol is pregnant again. This time with information. This one could be a bigger distraction than the first if Sarah does not make an announcement soon. Her adult daughter is VERY certain Sarah has made up her mind. If Sarah continues to play coy, her honesty is diminished. Some of her faithful here think Palin is simply fiddling the press. Perhaps. But she's doing it to fans, the party and the people too.

At what point does fiddling become ducking?

I can't say exactly, but skipping debates certainly does not exude confidence. If Sarah had made the decision Bristol swears is made -before the debate- then Palin was being a wimp. You did not have to officially declare to join the debate so all the silly legal rationalizations don't apply.

It would be selfish and dishonest to make up your mind but deny it for political timing gains over your in-party opposition. Successful maybe, honest no.
