Well, yes, I would like to see that. ..... Second Amendment First
Not a good comment. ..... Steely Tom
The GOP race is now a joke even on Free Republic. Imagine how the rest of America sees it.
Texas Governor Rick Perry is rumored to be planning to announce his entry into the Presidential race in August.
Until that time, the GOP race will be considered as a Reality TV joke by the media and by the majority of American voters.
Having the media on one side and Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann on the other side, constantly baiting each other as if they were on the Jerry Springer Show, complete with illusions to two girls coming together to have a mud wrestling fight, only perpetuates the joke.
Most American voters are not laughing with the current GOP field. They are laughing at it.
America will not elect another Affirmative Action candidate, such as Michelle Bachmann, who has no executive experience, who has been in Congress since 2007 and who would not be given the time of day if she were one of the white male Freshman Congressmen of the Class of 2007.
America fell for an Affirmative Action fiasco once and now sorely regrets it. Given the choice between two Affirmative Action candidates, America will stick with the one it already knows and who has had four years of executive experience since he was elected the last time.
America is desperately seeking competent leadership and experience and Sarah Palin sees the handwriting on the wall.
I predict that Sarah Palin will eventually endorse Governor Perry for President and the joke candidates of the GOP race (a pizza chain CEO who has never been elected to any office with Politically Correct skin color and a Congress-critter since 2007, without any executive experience but with a Politically Correct gender and a pretty face) will join Donald Trump as amusing footnotes to the 2012 Presidential Election.
Governor Sarah Palin's Endorsement of Governor Rick Perry
"That's why I am supporting Governor Rick Perry for re-election. He does what is right regardless of whether it is popular. He walks the walk of a true conservative. And he sticks to his guns and you know how I feel about guns!" ...... Sarah Palin, January 17, 2009
Is Governor Rick Perry a perfect candidate.
Of course not. No mere mortal is perfect and never will be .... especially if he actually had to govern as a chief executive of the second most populous State in the Union instead of spending his time parroting talking points, that cater only to the base, in front of a TV camera, like Michelle Bachmann had the luxury of doing.
Congress-critters are talkers that can spend their entire lives preaching to their adoring choir. Congress-critters do not have to actually accomplish anything. Governors, on the other hand, are doers who must actually govern in the Real World and who must please more than 30% of the voters in order to actually get elected.
Rick Perry is far from perfect but, so far, Rick Perry, Governor of the State of Texas for ten and a half years, is the most conservative potential candidate out there, that has expressed any interest, that can actually whip Barack Hussein Obama in November of 2012 and who is not considered the punchline of a joke by most of America's voters.
"The GOP race is now a joke even on Free Republic. Imagine how the rest of America sees it."
Yep. I see it as all cattle and no hat. If they can't say what they will do if elected, I don't want to see them elected.
