Lori would occasionally post a picture of a little boy knelt in prayer beside his bed, along with his big old dog praying right beside him. She had found it somewhere. I had printed it out and it has been up on my bulletin board for a few years.
I sure am going to miss her posts. Spunky, fiesty, God fearing, Patriot that she was.
Almighty God,
we remember before you today your faithful servant Lori;
and we pray that,
having opened to her the gates of larger life,
you will receive her more and more into your joyful service,
that,
with all who have faithfully served you in the past,
she may share in the eternal victory of Jesus Christ,
the Risen Lord,
