NYC business owners sick over ObamaCare
NY Post ^ | July 2, 2011 | JOHN AIDAN BYRNE

Rohit Arora runs a small business credit service. His firm provides the much-needed capital for companies to grow, expand and to hire.

So when Arora, the CEO of Biz2Credit, a Midtown finance company, says his latest research shows businesses large and small are making every effort to avoid hiring full-time workers, Washington should take notice.

The reason, Arora says, is because of rising health-care costs and fears about ObamaCare, the red tape and paperwork. He is also practicing what he hears with his own firm.

"ObamaCare has cast a long shadow over my plans to hire more staff," Arora said.

Employers across the metro area have had to put off hiring workers. They blame spiraling health-care costs and the uncertain future price tag of ObamaCare.

Another owner, Frank Passantino, is furious.

There were vast hordes of small business owners out campaigning for Obama because "he promises a medical insurance system we can afford".

So, thanks a lot small business people ~ now, afford this!

Bwahahahahah!!!!!!!

BTW, I am well aware there were many other small business folks who saw through the BS and campaigned against him, but ordinarily you just never see small business people campaigning for a Democrat.

The 2008 campaign was a totally strange scene.

Cases in point: Children can now remain on their parents' insurance plans until they're 26, and lifetime caps are prohibited on insurance benefits.

The very two reasons cited by my insurance company for raising my premiums by 33%.

The same thing happened in Hawaii. When they mandated health insurance the companies all moved their headquarters to the mainland and kept skeleton crews on the Island full time. Most young people work several part time jobs because regulations make it too expensive to hire full time employees. Obamas and the RATS have done it. MISSION ACCOMPLISHeD!

Upper East sliders and those South of Houston will still vote for this maggot, but I think he’s got problems with the people on Wall St. and East siders.

And they will STILL vote for the moron again!!

The most galling part of all of this. How many of these business owners voted for Obama and the RATS? The detestable Schumer and that airhead Gillibrand did not get over 60% of the vote from just RAT voters. Idiots.

Unfortunately for many employees, the effect will last even if ObamaCare is overturned as the ball of using private contractors in lieu of hiring employees will keep rolling.

Employees receive vacations and paid holidays but contractors don't (the equivalent of four weeks pay a year) health insurance, possible 401k contributions, etc. Contract workers receive none of these.

And this article plays right into their hands with the way he has been picking on the business owners lately. Note the article discusses cash sitting on the balance sheet, but owner’s with money won’t hire.

Instead they’ll fly around in their private jets on vacations, etc.

If these owner’s are truly against 0bamacare, they got set-up to be used for this article...darn greedy business owners won’t hire because they’ll have to spill money for health insurance...

Pretty slick piece of propaganda if you ask me. And those moron’s will vote for 0bama and ‘hate’ the businessman.

The leftists in gubt already made it pretty hard to *fire* anyone, even in the private sector, thanks to Affirmative Action and other frivolous lawsuits. Your idea doesn't seem too far away...

How could the $1000 rise in family plans be perplexing—now that 26yo offspring are supported on it?!?

Don’t know about your insurance but mine allowed me to continue to cover my children until they reached 26 as long as they were full time students. But that is not raised our rates. Can’t wait for this to get to the supreme court and hopefully, they’ll render it unconstitutional.

Socialism is a hoot when you point that Free Market Killing Machine at all the fat cats (so-called), but it turns into an ugly parasitic cancer when they get around to pointing it at you.

Those who are wealthy that voted 0bamunist are now beginning to realize the horror of their stupidity.

He will demand that they become as impoverished as everyone else in this country.
