I believe it. My neighbor got into a motorcycle accident on the freeway and needed 9 damn months of rehab, including a broken leg. It pisses him off that he needed crutches for 6 months going up and down an apartment building WITHOUT an elevator.
That’s not why he’s alive. He had his helmet on. Period. he told me, he rebelled against a helmet but he did wear it when the accident occurred.
That's exactly why I wear a helmet. On a motorcycle. On a bicycle. On inline skates In a kayak... But I don't think the state should make that call.
