Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
So she’s guilty of lying to the police. The jury nailed her for that.
Casey is guilty as hell.
Prosecutor had a simple case:
1. Caylee is dead;
2. Caylee was missing for a month before her mother reported her missing;
3. Casey did the internet searches for cloroform and breaking necks;
4. The duct tape;
5. The lies to the police;
6. The tattoo;
7. Partying while her daughter was missing;
8. Lies about a caretaker;
9. Not telling her family Caylee was missing.
10. The odor in the car trunk (should have had it tested; major FU).
11. If Caylee had drowned, why not simple call 911 or the authorities?
The prosecution should have been able to present its case in no more than two weeks.
Instead of telling a simple story, the prosecutor made it complex and the members of the jury weren’t too bright so they were swayed by the “story” presented by the defense attorney.
Prosecutor should have kept it simple.
Again, those people should not have been seated.

I’m VERY disappointed in Rush. He’s completely off base here.
No, just did not buy the states case and thought the judge showed bias against the defense. He let in a bunch of junk science. I could see the state trying to hide evidence.
Too many dismissals when the evidence is there

It probably was her mother. We just can’t prove it.

Mr Warmoth and Mr Shaffer are well train as lawyers and I listened to them 99% of the time . No screaming or ranting and saw no agenda from them. As I have not watched the TV since the verdict, I do not know their side of the coin.
NG, I havent watched since the night she was Blowing Smoke about guns and didn’t know what in hell a Musket was!
As for Crow, I have eaten it many times. So let me now partake a bit and say you have some great points but I’m not buying she did not snuff Caylee. I maybe the only one but I will always contend she placed duct tape over her mouth to stifle her crying if she awoke from Chloroform. Caylee woke up started crying and as mucus filled her nose she suffocated. She “drown” in her on fluids! I will believe this till I pass.
You may also contend your points with no objections on my part.

screaminmoron has been taunting anyone who believed in casey’s guilt from the beginning. who knows, maybe he/she is one of casey’s party buddies?

I just heard one of the alternate jurors talk on Fox News(He was Juror #14) after hearing him talk, I realize that this jury was NEVER going to convict Casey Anthony no matter what evidence was shown..other then a videotape of Casey murdering Caylee this jury was NEVER going to convict her..this guy actually said that Casey was a good mother..yeah, such a great mother, I mean doesn’t everyone go partying after your kid dies..I mean if that doesn’t show what a great mother Casey is I don’t know what else will..your kid dies, party like its 1999 all day and all night..so yeah, this jury no matter what evidence was presented it didn’t matter, they weren’t going to convict her anyway so it was just a huge waste of time.
Caylee will never see justice..I just hope that little angel is playing with her bicycle in heaven and may the monster who brutally murdered her get whats coming to her if not in this lifetime when she meets her maker
I’m shocked. As soon as verdict was being read the telephone repairman showed up and I had to get offline.
As I said to some friends, Cindy has been living a nightmare for three years and trying to defend her daughter’s actions. Now that there is no fear of the state punishing Casey, Cindy will have to live with her daughter and will have time to really think about what Casey did to Caylee. Even if she never accepts murder, she KNOWS Casey knew the child was dead and she not only didn’t tell them, she partied and had fun for a month. How could anyone do that? How could anyone not feel any pain over the death of her child? Cindy gets to welcome THAT back into her home.
Aim that gun at Casey, not the jury.
Did you actually watch the closing arguments?
If you watched the closing arguments and came to the conclusion that the attorneys were allowed to introduce new evidence or lie about the existence of evidence then you either misunderstood the evidence presented or the closing arguments.
