Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
Once again...a personal stupid attack rather than presenting your case.
Even Rush said, they HAD NO EVIDENCE...except circumstanital evidence that often was brough on by ridiculous “experts”. The prosecutor did not prove his case....so sorry.
Maybe YOU should put down the bong or the booze.
If you can't present a case sufficient to convince even a few of these jurors, either your factual case, your presentation, or both are lacking.
Jurors don't lose cases, lawyers do.
And, second guessing the motives of jurors you know nothing about is beyond stupid.
Who killed the child?
The entire crux of this case in 5 words....no one knows for sure except God, many think they know who but cannot prove it.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
So anyone that has any sort of mental health issues (e.g. depression) is a murderer?
Maybe we should just round up anyone that has ever been prescribed anti-depressants since they are all just a ticking time bomb?

As I was stuck in traffic, I was stunned listening to Sean Hannity go on and on about how he agreed with the jury. He is a moron. He thinks “any doubt” equates to reasonable doubt. He reflects the current state of our culture, which is filled with reality shows and the admonishment that we shouldn’t be judgmental (except against those who have more than we do.)
So if it’s not on video, they can’t put their minds around it. The last person with Caylee was Casey. No report for 31 days. Out partying during that time. A car that reeked and contained chloroform residue. Computer searches for chloroform. The duct tape on the body didn’t get there by itself. Guilty of lying to the police - and everyone else. Yet Hannity equated her partying to the way some people act at an Irish wake. I am done with his shows.

I agree with you. It did come out initially, but what was he, about the 5th witness? I'm sure the lazy nitwits on that panel who couldn't EVEN BE BOTHERED TO TAKE MANY NOTES didn't have enough long-term memory brain cells between them to remember this fact. The prosecution should have pounded it more, but then again this gang was so thick they could have drawn them a picture and it wouldn't have done any good.
And yes, I am totally disgusted.

You bring up very, very valid points.
Our justice system needs lots of fixing...and I really agree with you there. And of course, again, its about money. If DC progressives weren’t wasting our tax dollars maybe we could fix a lot of this. Then too is the reality, like it or not, that people with money, get a much better deal than those without funds.
And there is the human factor, i have seen attorneys get raw deals in THEIR personal cases.

You are 100% right on. It is shameful what is being done to this jury. The prosecution alone is responsible for this epic failure.
I disagree with you a bit.......the case was doomed because the physical evidence at the scene was so degraded as to be useless. No DNA....but even had they found DNA from Casey on Caylee they would have said since she’s the mother it should be there.
The second point is the confusion on reasonable doubt.....which should read beyond a reasonable doubt, meaning one can have a reasonable doubt and convict.
The most disturbing part is that they blame George. There was zero evidence that George had anything to do with this.
I have to conclude that the jury failed us. Big time.
What's wrong with you? Rush admitted he watched ABOUT 2 PERCENT OF THE THING. Is that the standard for reasoned verdicts now??
I don’t have a moral problem with the Constitution. However, it is a dilemma when your gut tells you that a person is guilty but because the prosecution didn’t present their case well enough you have to at least consider voting not-guilty. I guess you can argue that Casey’s partying when her daughter was “missing” isn’t evidence but I disagree. She reacted the way a killer or sociopath would, not a normal caring mother.

Rush admitted that he didn’t know but about TWO PERCENT of the case and that he got from his wife.
