Yes, I agree; but we don’t have to participate or monetarily support the insanity.
The U.S.A. out of the UN, and the UN out of the U.S.A.!

Anything “contra” American, by the majority, the OIC.
These are the guys Obama wants to relegate us to for his obvious reasons.

The larger question remains: Does anyone...ANYONE...give a rat’s ass about what the UN says, does, or pretends to be?
I suggest the answer is a resounding “no”. They have become a completely irrelevant entity....you know, kind of like the Nobel Prize committee.

Is the UN stark raving mad? Yes.

AS a case of lunatics taking over the asylum, it would be hard to beat the announcement that North Korea has assumed chairmanship of the UN Conference on Disarmament, the premier world body charged with the cessation of the nuclear arms race and prevention of nuclear war. WHY NOT?
The UN should go whole-hog:
- Saudi Arabia can chair the Conference on Religious Tolerance.
- China can chair the Council to Preserve Individual Firearms Rights.
- Cuba can chair the Council to Promote Capitalism.
- The Sudan, Angola, and Somolia can chair the Council of Human Rights. Oh wait, they do.
- Zimbabwe can chair the Council of Economic Freedom.
- Syria can chair the Council to Prevent Terrorism.
- Palestine can chair the Council to Protect Judeaism.

Stark Raving Mad would be an improvement.
The monsters that infest the halls of the u.n. are evil.
If they were mad, occasionally they would do something right if only by simple random chance.

Yes.
It has been for decades; why is anyone surprised?
To: Dundee
The UN is the creature of the Progressive wing of the American Establishment, including Alger Hiss and all of that crowd.
Can anyone really be surprised at the intellectual amd moral bankruptcy of this Frankenstein’s monster.

Yes, but we provide the UN billions of dollars a year to perpetuate this madness!
To: Dundee
Is the UN stark raving mad? I'll take 'Yes' for $800, Alex.
If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.Or you can get raw with these strings. Either way, the violin is sweet yet lethal.
Do it!
