Might, Public Unions and hiring quotas have something to do with this problem? Just saying.
I know Denver police officers, and Denver is no better and no worse than any other place. The police department is a big bureaucracy, riddled with PC, and used as a combination tool and fall-guy by the mayor and city government. So what else is new?
A lot of these complaints are from people like the yuppies who call the police “pigs” most of the time getting annoyed that the police didn’t drop everything to solve their burglary (when they had left their house unlocked and had not marked their property!) or somebody feeling she wasn’t treated with the appropriate kid gloves when making her latest outrageous claim against an ex-boyfriend.
The Denver police are always under attack from the Boulder libs, the usual “black clergy” and the press, and it’s sad that everybody on FR is stupid enough to fall for it.

No...Denver has a lot of short cops. It’s an attitude problem.
