Will any reporter have the nerve to ask Obama why he is always late compared to President Bush who was always on time?

Republicans think we are a banana republic.

We need to raise taxes to balance the budget.
I propose cuts to come into effect in ten years.
He is the one threatening the full faith and create of the US.
He was only thirteen minutes late. All four broadcast networks carrying live, as are the cable news networks.
Get ready for more class warfare and attacks against the Reps. Then he will continue negotiations. Obama is trying to position himself as the advocate for big spending cuts. He is now the guy who wants to tackle deficits while spending like a drunken sailor over the past three years increasing the national debt by almost $4 trillion.

He’s insisting he won’t consider a temporary “fix” - I bet he’s going to eat those words, because the dems are whining that we’ll default if we don’t raise the debt ceiling (I don’t believe it), so they have to do something.
He’s trying to present himself as a triangulator—a la Clinton. Allegedly calling for both sides to made “sacrifices.” Trying to portray himself as a middle of the roader for those independent voters in 2012. His actions as president have shown that he is NOT a middle of the road kind of guy.....
Obama is using his usual tactics of setting an arbitrary deadline creating a crisis atmosphere to stampede the Reps into a deal.

Indeed. AND, also a sign of serious lack of self-discipline, or discipline of any kind. Community organizers have to be disciplined about......nothing.
Resistance by him to do anything on entitlements and “strong” resistance by republicans to do anything on revenues.
He has a lot of nerve to stand up there and admonish everyone over politics without taking a single ounce of blame for his failed economic policies and yes; he owns it.
