I know how you feel,I made an error on a post and have since admitted to being misinformed. But that admission is falling on deaf ears, cause they keep piling on.It seems no one wants to accept my admission of error they just want to show how superior they all seem to think they are.But not one will answer a question I posed.Very curious indeed.

You're going to need a thicker skin around here. We aren't necessarily piling on (although that is considered great sport here)... there are a lot of posts and people are replying to what they see. They don't always click to see what other replies have already been made. Also, some replies take time to develop while other posts continue to accrue...

Don't get all worked up over it.

The next time you make an error, click the abuse button on your own post, explain to the mod that you screwed up and ask him/her to delete it. That’s what I did, it prevents even more people from piling on. The mods are really understanding about stuff like that and the quickest way to get their attention is the abuse button.

That was the worst possible mistake I could have made and I have made some doozies. It looked like I was denying the divinity of Jesus and I didn’t mean that at all

“But not one will answer a question I posed.Very curious indeed.”

Here is a discussion on the subject of which you are interested. It may not satisfy you, but it might give you a little more insight on the subject from the Catholic prospective.
