I remember when the homosexual propaganda was all about celebrating the choice to be ‘gay’. The analogy was always made to a preference for vanilla or chocolate icecream (how Freudian is that?), and the buzzword of the day was ‘sexual preference’. That was back in the ‘70s. Then along came federal jurisprudence (of course) which gave greater protection to those who were in a ‘suspect class’, which were immutable and out of the individual’s control, such as race or nation of origin. Presto-change-o the ‘sexual preference’ went away in favor of the ‘gay gene’. The doctrine is of course expanding and altered from that original boundary, but that is it in a nutshell, and why homosexual propaganda did a 180 from preference to being born that way.
Every single significant distortion in our culture today has some federal actor, jurisprudence or policy behind it. Every single one.
