Casey Anthony has been released from a Florida jail, 12 days after she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
Anthony got into an SUV after leaving the Orange County Jail in Orlando early Sunday morning, leaving in the company of her attorney Jose Baez.

Yes. I got the email from MIKECZ. I got 2 of them. If I had responded to them I would have told him there is a sucker born every minute and he just proved it. She views that kind of sucker as a huge target. LOL!

Same here but only 3 years (would be longer by my SIL stayed with us for a bit and brought her TV). Best thing we ever did.
We discovered if it is important, someone will tell us. We have also quit listening to the radio (except the weather station during storms). We have our ipods filled with Christian music and oldies and get our news from FR.
We also have much more time to get other things done.
DO NOT TELL ME YOU JUST WROTE THAT. Cleft palate babies are children too (and often very cute).You missed my point. The media wouldn't have found the same priceless child (with a cleft palate) to be "beautiful" and worthy of soooooo much media attention, unless, of course, they could twist it to their favor.
She won’t be missed? This woman will be under a microscope for the rest of her days.

Not really. The media hype will fade, there will be reports of her changing her name and moving to an ‘undisclosed location’. If she is tracked down and then just disappears again, people will assume she just did the same thing. I fully expect her to milk this then say ‘its too much. I’m afraid’ and change her name.
If she moves to parts of rural America, and they found out who she is, there will be a lot of people who wouldn’t waste their time looking for her.
Or she could end up in a snowbank with a suicide note pinned to her shirt and the cops might not bother to call it anything but suicide.
your post sounds quite a bit delusional to me. Are you sure you are not living in some sort of fantasy world to think her smile meant, “I made it to the car ok”? To me and I’m sure 90% of the public would say that smile is, “hahaha, I got away with muder and now I’m FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!”

BTW, I read of a case in the midwest where something similar happened. A man was raped several children but was let off on a technicality (bad warrant IIRC). This happened in the late fall, early winter. About a month or so later, he disappeared, many thought he just moved. Come spring thaw, his body was found out in the country, with a suicide note written in someone elses handwriting wrapped in plastic and in his shirt pocket. The coroner ruled it suicide and that was that.
Should the police have done more? Sure but that isn’t how it always goes, even in big cities.
I think it had less to do with her looks and more to do with the fact she didn’t report her missing for a month.
I’ll say from my perspective, regardless of Casey’s appearance (I find her repulsive and not attractive at all with her guppy mouth), I’d still have this same feeling of wanting justice for her daughter for being murdered.
Oh I think it very much had to do with ‘the family inviting the media’ to help in the search for Caley....which is how this whole thing started....so those who think this was staged because of looks are mistaken, though the media did agree and it went from there. I agree also that Casey not reporting it set the esculation for this to get blown up to the perportions it has...just as you stated.
The media does choose who they will feature and for whatever reasons they opted for this....but then as things moved along and how twisted things became it was simply a human interest story on how this would turn out.
I often wonder why people make issue once an attractive individual is featured. What difference does that make...the media will always be selective and use whatever measure they determine to carry a story...then if the public bites..it’s a go.

One of them raised the point that now, thanks to shows like “C.S.I.”, juries expect a case to be wrapped up, cut-and-dried, in the space of an hour. ( they both thought that the evidence in this case should have convicted her.)

That is exactly what happens. My husband, who did his internship in criminal law, was shocked she was acquitted, he said the evidence was more than enough for a conviction had the jury not been so lazy and had not had unreasonable expectations.
She is accustomed to being taken care of by others, choice or not to her victims, she will use every opportunity to continue the ride she is on..

Yep. Did you notice how she was holding Baez’s hand as they were leaving? She sees him as someone to take care of her.

No … I’m not going to spend any time on this mess today. Just wanted to get one point across. Juror No. 3 has now started talking. She is saying that the prosecution didn’t prove how Casey died. Guess what? The prosecution doesn’t need to prove how the victim died to prove murder. The jury had all the information it needed to determine that Casey didn’t die of natural causes and that Casey’s mother was the cause. As time goes on this jury will become known as a jury that didn’t understand it’s job, didn’t understand the evidence, didn’t engage in due and intelligent deliberation … and let a murderer go. They will have to live with that. As for Casey Anthony? She will self-destruct. The only question is when.

That's correct...they had a plan for her exit...exact places to be and go, as well as what expressions to hold while camera's were rolling. To me Casey was simply biting her lip to hold back the joy of being free...we see that errupt before she even takes her seat in the vehicle. I think she thought she was out of view of a direct camera...tinted windows and all. Personally I won't be following this much longer....where she goes and what she does from here on in has no interest to me....other than if or not she survives this ordeal. But either way she will never truly be free of what happened.
I disagree. Based on personal experience.
