Casey Anthony Freed From Fla. Jail Early Sunday

Casey Anthony has been released from a Florida jail, 12 days after she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.

Anthony got into an SUV after leaving the Orange County Jail in Orlando early Sunday morning, leaving in the company of her attorney Jose Baez.

I wouldn;t say the guppy look was part of her persona as that would imply it was one of her normal expressions. The guppy look was manufactured specifically to influence the jury perhaps for sympathy, but maybe she didn’t get the memo that her expression (at least to me) made her look like an angry, spoiled narcissist. Not a look that a jury would find favorable imo.

Cindy always did the laundry and did not ever see the shirt Caylee was wearing when they discovered her remains. It was a pink shirt which says: “BIG TROUBLE COMES IN SMALL PACKAGES” and it was in a pic with Casey plying a guitar at her boyfriend’s home so had to be in her backpack in the car but not at the house.

Beautiful Caylee died and I will never believe it was premeditated, regardless of how it happened. The prosecution overcharged, the defense did their job and the jury did theirs

This statement leaves only two possibilities:

1. You didn't follow the proceedings closely and you are just ignorant of the facts or

2. You followed the trial in which case you are as stupid and lazy as the jury.

That is insane. I’m sure the DA wants this to go away because of the amount of time and effort, but from what I have heard after the trial, there should be investigations into witness tampering, jury tampering, jury misconduct. It would be rare but not impossible to get an acquittal set aside in the case of jury tampering. Which means double jeopardy would not apply.

Jury misconduct and witness tampering wouldn’t lead to a setting aside of the acquittal but could lead to other charges. It is a shame that some of these things only came to light after the verdict, because a mistrial would have been a good thing in this case.

I’m stilling trying to figure out the significance of the shirt and shorts that were on Caylee. How does that tie into this crime/death? Mom Casey probably bought them for her.

It wouldn’t be that unusual to have different clothes at different places the mother stayed. I had clothes that stayed at my dad’s and at my grandparents’ houses.

But, if George and Cindy had never seen the outfit or the outfit was never out the house then they were not the last ones to see Caylee alive and Casey was not telling the truth about where her daughter had been spending time.

I agree with you...My “opinion” is that something happened, but it was not premeditated, but then we will never know will we? And THAT supports the jury...All these people saying after the verdict” We will never really know what happened “ validates the jury’s verdict. If all you have is evidence here and there, even with Casey’s bizzare behavior in those 30 days..you still have nothing linking it specifically to Casey, well. there you go.

there have been circumstantial cases..., like lacey peterson..but there were specific links and in the timeline to tie it to the husband.

We don’t either, but in the winter we bring my mother’s over to our house (she doesn’t have TV service either) because of the cold (she snowbirds and it is hard on the TV to leave it in -30 all winter).

We will decide if we even want to get a flat screen when our old TV dies and right now we are thinking not.

Even the DVD’s we watch are old movies and TV shows (1960’s and earlier except “Monk”). We love WWII ‘morale movies’.

I agree with you. Anyone with common sense would realize that there is only one reason why a mother would not report her baby missing. There is only one reason why a mother would not call 911 screaming and crying for help.
