I am rather proud of the fact that I have never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie. Just not that into the whole Potter phenom...lol. Now CS Lewis is a different thing...loved all of those books.

Should you ever decide to read/listen to the books, please let me know what you think of them.

The good thing about them is it got a lot of kids reading for pleasure, so they might be more likely to pick up something else. The bad thing is that it might lower expectations, making more challenging books less likely to be attempted.

They aren’t as good as CS Lewis. Especially the sci-fi trilogy. They are fairly entertaining, though.
