Freshman GOP Rep. Alan West hammered away at fellow Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) on Tuesday in a biting personal attack in which he characterized the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairwoman as "the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives,” according to various reports.
West was responding to remarks Wasserman Schulz directed toward him on the House floor Tuesday after he'd defended the Republican's "Cut, Cap and Balance" legislation. Democrats have argued that the bill, which would cap federal spending at 18 percent of GDP, would lead to steep cuts in Medicare and Social Security – programs benefiting many South Floridians like those in West's district.

Wasserman Schultz is my representative, but as a chairwoman of DNC she sent mail with a copy of Obama's fake birth certificate. I faxed a letter to her, but did not bother to answer. Alan West is my hero, I wish he was my representative instead of her. I'm on medicare Debby and you are wrong, the Republic is at risk and your obligations to your party should not be above our Constitution. Besides you have forgotten that Obama betrayed Israel. This has been personal between the two of them since the election.
She was behind accusations of West and the “outlaw biker” smear.
In defense of West’s ‘Rat opponent, she and several other hags and protested in front of West’s campaign headquarters, she accused him of hating women. She also campaigned through out the district for the ‘Rat since she had no worries running in her own district.
I know, she is my representative. Alan West is a great and honest man.

Rep. LtC (ret) Allen West just keeps getting better.
She accused him of trying to destroy Medicare and ruin the lives of South Florida seniors in his district. She has always been on the attack against him, however, and has marauded into his district to spread outrageous personal lies about him. (Her district is safely Dem so she doesn’t have to worry about campainging there.)
I’m glad he stood up to her. Ignoring her just makes her get even more outrageous.
