I have been at several 912 and Tea Party meetings and each time someone brings up Chambliss and his latest idiocy. The last one I heard was he wanted to get rid of the home mortgage deduction on our taxes. This just about caused the room to explode when that was mentioned. If he was smart he should just crawl under a rock until his retirement.

Isakson’s office (I called them too) says that Sen Isakson is an original sponsor of CCB. Good to hear.

I called too. NOTE: Before calling, you should know and note that Chambliss is also an original sponsor to cut, cap and balance, SB 1340. This originated in the Senate and the House just voted on it.

Told him that somehow Washington was going to have to make due with the $4.2 T that we sent them last year. Another thread said that on FOX this morning the Sen admitted that the balance was done due to tax increases and budgetary gimmickry. The other thread was a write up from the CATO Institute on this. It said there were net $1T tax increases. Phone answerer said there were no tax increases. Told her she needed to check this and his appearance on Fox this morning. Also told her there weren’t real cuts, it was restraint in rate of growth. The people of GA are awake and they are not going to stand for this.

Will let you know if I hear anything via email from the Sen.
