There have been numerous attacks against large numbers of children in Iraq. Islamists have no problem killing children.
I saw a lot of baby clothing strewn around mass graves south of Baghdad. One grave held the bodies of a mother holding her baby, both shot in the head and the baby still had a pacifier in his mouth.
They had no problem killing Russian children a few years ago.
