The Foreign Minister was met with claims that Norway must recognize a Palestinian state when he visited the Labour Youth League summer camp Thursday.

During the second day of Labour Youth League summer camp at Utøya got the Labour Party’s young hopefuls visit by Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store.

Together with Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation correspondent Sidsel Wold and Norwegian People’s Aid Kirsten Belck-Olsen, the Foreign Minister discussed of the deadlock between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

As the foreign minister arrived Utøya he was met with a demand from the AUF that Norway must recognize a Palestinian state.

The Palestinians must have their own state, the occupation must end, the wall must be demolished and it must happen now, said the Foreign Minister to cheers from the audience.

The social-democracy model, apparently, is just an interim state until they can flood those countries with enough foreigners to send themselves back to the Stone Age. The social-democracy part was simply to get elected and stay in office long enough to carry out the process.

Just like when it was revealed in Britain, that Labor had purposefully encouraged rampant immigration to accomplish two main goals- accuse conservatives of racism and dilute(ultimately eliminate) Western culture.

I stand firmly against the actions of the bombings and shootings of innocent parties in Norway and Israel. In that, I am consistent in my beliefs. I did not say that the youths in Norway deserved what they got. They didn't. But I will defend my point that if they support terrorism against others then they must support terrorism against themselves.

"I stand firmly against you and your brand of inhumanity."

My brand of humanity would not permit me to do the things that the Palestinian terrorists, and the bombers and shooters in Norway did, nor to support their actions. Chill on your nonsensical judgment.

"I hope one day, you will realize how stupid this post of yours is."

In time, you will realize how devoid of reasoning your statements are.

“Just like when it was revealed in Britain, that Labor had purposefully encouraged rampant immigration to accomplish two main goals- accuse conservatives of racism and dilute(ultimately eliminate) Western culture. “

I remember that coming out earlier this year. It confirmed what I’ve always said - which is that Liberals and Socialists are VERY SMART - they are not dumb, or mis-guided - they know EXACTLY what they’re doing and they would jail us (or worse) if they could just figure out a way. It’s been like that since the dawn of civilization.

We take them lightly at our own risk. Both Dr. Laura and Tony Snow were CONVINCED that part of what Rush says was
‘embellishment’, in order to get ratings. Tony Snow learned that it wasn’t once he starting fighting the public school that his daughters were enrolled at. Laura learned it when she dared to criticize gays, who ultimately drove her off the air.

I learned who they were at COLLEGE, when I went to teach-ins to see what they were about. They talked about the coming revolution and how they were going to organize things after...and they were DEAD SERIOUS.

Hopefully more people are starting to figure these people out and understand that they have to stopped cold, and NEVER compromised with. The only thing that I have trouble figuring out, of all of this, is how did Rush get it too? He didn’t go to an ESU-type school that I went to and didn’t stay there long as it was. I may never know for sure.

In other words, he is the terrorist the European left has always dreamed of and hoped for.
///
brilliant summary!
...and that is exactly what doesn’t make any sense here.

his older writings were mostly logical. he identified problems. he had 2 degrees and wasn’t stupid.

so WHY did he do this? 3 SECONDS of thought, and he had to have realized, that his plan would result in making the government he opposed, STRONGER.
(in fact, the conservatives were gaining there. the Olso police report that 100% of violent rapes were ALL done by the 4% of immigrants. the public sentiment WAS turning against immigration.)

what he did, will result in the exact opposite of what he wanted. and he WAS smart enough to realize that.

so why ???

he also admires Al Qaeda!

A Freemason that admires al-Qaeda??? That sounds like someone with a badly malfunctioning rudder.

We still don't know all of the story. He's starting to sound more like Jared Loughner.

Rush is a smart guy, and part of his success is his ability to assess situations. Taking the long view and analyzing the evidence would get the same conclusion that you got and Dr. Laura and Tony Snow. Plus, people tell Rush things. Just as people on the inside were/are giving info to Beck, no doubt Rush has plenty of “moles”. Islam and communism and socialism are indeed evil made manifest and will never give up or stop until the End. That is what people need to really fully realize- this is not just a few “bad people” or people with mistaken ideas, good intentions gone wrong, etc, it is indeed Satan at work and the devil will never stop.

I don’t agree that this act means that people will allow government to grow more powerful or influential.

I have long felt that today’s economic situation closely mirrors much of the situation leading up to WWII. People are uncertain about the future, willing to look at outsiders (immigrants) as part of the problem, and vulnerable to an outburst of extreme nationalism if charismatic leadership presents itself.

Remember the reason that European socialism took hold post-WWII. An entire generation of fathers and young men were lost to the war and in many ways, socialist systems were necessary to care for women, children, elederly and others who lost core providers to combat.

That generation is passed now and the overall demographics of Europe by age more closely resemble pre-war Europe. People want to thrive, not contribute to the mass hive or give to outsiders - it’s simple psychology; all people are fundamentally selfish (they want comfort, security and health at the base levels, regardless of others’ needs). The difference now, is that there are many more young and energetic people feeling this; that they are not thriving, that they are uncertain about the future, that the government has contributed by prioritizing outsiders over them.

The post-war generation had grown war-weary after WWII. This generation does not have the same frame of reference and many of the same frustrations of their pre-WWII ancestors.

I do not condone this shooter, but do feel that he may quite likely become the first of many frustrated people to break, or symptomatic of a larger movement set to rise.

The youths supported the Palestinians. The Palestinians have engaged in terrorist bombings and shootings of innocent civilians, including teenagers for decades.

Not all Palestinians. One does not have to be an anti-semite or terrorist to recognize that the Palestinians have been dealt a bad card by history. There is a middle ground between supporting the terrorists on one hand and condemning a whole group of people as subhuman criminals on the other. The dilemma is the search for that middle ground where the Palestinians can live a decent life and Israel's security can still be upheld.

From the article:

"On Wednesday AUF leader Eskil Pedersen said that the AUF wants a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side.

Labour Youth will have a more activist Middle East policy and we have to recognize Palestine. We have to get the peace process into a new track, said Pedersen."

Mr K's Post: "There is a middle ground between supporting the terrorists on one hand and condemning a whole group of people as subhuman criminals on the other."

"Hamas has launched violent attacks against Israel, most recently exchanging heavy cross-border fire over the Gaza Strip last month and condemns all negotiations with Israel."

On brink of unity deal, Palestinian official says Hamas needn't recognize Israel

Mr. Kangaroo: Can you tell me where the youths have clearly voiced their support for the Palestinian moderates, condemnation of the militants, recognition for the right of Israel to determine its own future, and how a unilateral ECONOMIC boycott of Israel with help solve a damned thing?

"Peres continued to condemn Hamas' actions which he said harmed both the Palestinian and Israeli people. "Hamas has one goal," he said, "to destroy the State of Israel."

Hamas wants to destroy Israel, says Peres

Mr. Kangaroo: The above article is dated 2007, but since then has Hamas altered its view that Israel should be destroyed? Do you have proof that the Norwegian youths who have demanded a unilateral economic boycott of Israel are at odds with Hamas?

If enough nations engage in a unilateral economic boycott of Israel, it would eventually destroy Israel. How do the youths of Norway reconcile this as being different with the demands of Hamas that Israel be destroyed? How can the youths pretend to support the "moderates" of Palestine, when the "moderates" are not in power? Since Hamas was elected by a majority vote, how does this suggest that a majority is composed of "moderates?"
