If that should happen, it wouldn’t be too far out of reason for is own party to turn on him.
Another good game would be an over/under on how many times he uses a personal pronoun.

I think they are all in a panic over reelection and hanging on to their jobs. The voters are waking up to the smoke and mirrors and realizing how bad the whole situation really is.
As for Geithner, he sets the default catastrophe date for Aug 2, then changes it to the 9 or 10th, his credibility is gone, especially after his refusal to answer questions yesterday on TV.

The only place in the Constitution the power to borrow money on behalf of the United States is mentioned is in Article I Section 8 which lays out the powers of CONGRESS!
Not sure I can take anymore of his puerile rants! He knows he is sinking in the polls and he is now going to try and blame Republicans some more. He is flirting with disaster for our whole country all for selfish political reasons. Hope he does say he is going to bypass Congress...it will then finally be time to impeach his ass!! No more excuses..his lawlessness and high crimes and misdemeanors have stacked up beyond all measure now.
Part of Geithners problem is being a partisan hack instead of doing the job he was appointed to. Has he been asleep at the wheel knowing the debt was mounting exponentially?
I only want to see him resign. That is the next speech I will watch of Dick Omullah. Otherwise I will never listen to him again, he lies.

Boehner and the GOP have already won this battle. Reid caved on taxes and we got 1:1 spending cuts (I still want to see FY 12 cuts for the GOP and Reid plans).
Boehner must get his bill passed thru the House b4 Reid moves in the Senate. With senate filibuster rules, this should be easy. Another Boehner win would increase his leverage.
What we want to do is obtain additional concessions from Reid, because BO and the RATS would sell their own mother to get the debt ceiling past Nov 2012.
