Alaska has the 4th least amount of people in it of the 50 states, Texas has the second most.
Palin was Governor for half a term, Perry was elected by the people 3 times as governor, governed for 10 years and was Lt. Governor before that, winning his election as the first Republican Lt. Governor ever elected in the state of Texas.
