His flock may be lean now,I personally see any evidence of it, but come election time it will be at full strenght. I would not believe a poll if it said water was wet for two reasons:! People lie to pollsters. 2. Polls are always skewed to get the desired results.
Not all people lie to pollsters. I got a call from a pollster a couple of days ago asking if I was going to vote Republican int he next primary here in Indiana, and I told him “yes”. He then asked if I was going to vote for tea party backed Richard Mourdock or Dick Lugar, and I didn’t even hesitate when I said “Mourdock”. He then told me he was calling for Dick Lugar, and asked what I thought was the most important issue in Washington today, and when I told him “the financial crisis” he seemed to like that answer, but then I followed it up quickly with “Second only to term limits.” He thanked me for my time and hung up.
I got polled by AP coming out of the 2008 election. I noticed she stopped checking her boxes after I said I voted McCain/Palin. ;)
I agree on the pollsters, but I hear a LOT of very remorseful Obama voters crying the blues. Who knows? Perhaps they need to suffer more before they learn. By then though it will be WAY beyond too late for the country.
