That was a great piece by Rubio. And I wish he had resonded to Kerry’s question (and to any of these other idiot sentors of both parties) “What the hell are you people doing taking symbolic votes?? You people don’t vote on anything, you do everything by unanimous consent so nobody’s on the record and when you do vote it’s not actually for or against anything for real, but is symbolic. What are you doing here if not to actually vote on issues before the country?”

I loaded the C-Span app on my iPhone and have been listening more to C-Span than I have been lately. Both Rubio and Rand Paul are impressive for newbies. Rubio was speaking and John (I was in VN) Kerry asked him to yield and Rubio did. The somewhat puffy Kerry asked Rubio about previous votes on the debt limit and the situations this was done under before and compared them to today. Rubio was calm and put Kerry back in his chair. Kerry prefaced his question with the classic "is it not true" as if he had Rubio owned. Rubio is the kind of guy that we need in Washington. Smart and level headed.
