CNN: LZ Granderson - Wise up GOP: Ditch the tea party (HURL!)
CNN ^ | August 2, 2011 | LZ Granderson

Posted on 08/02/2011 6:12:34 AM PDT by maggief

Grand Rapids, Michigan (CNN) -- I guess if John Boehner enjoyed his party's in-fighting and hints of mutiny during the debt ceiling talks, then the 15 months leading to the general election will be pure ecstasy because it's likely going to be more of the same.

But if Boehner doesn't like being taken hostage by elements of his own party, then I suggest he adheres to the same criticism he hurls President Barack Obama's way -- stop leading from behind.

Man up and do what he, Sen. John McCain and many other top-tier Republicans know needs to be done for the sake of the party: Kick those freeloading tea partiers out.

Vote to censure, campaign against them and deny them GOP resources. Do whatever needs to be done to force them to get in line or stand on their own two feet. Ask yourself: If the tea party members are so powerful that Boehner has to answer to their every whim, why does it rely on Republican resources for survival? The answer is they're not that powerful. They only bark like they are.

This racial voter knows that unless a third party divides the anti-Obama vote, he will lose. The only reason Bill Clinton won was Ross Perot.

Bears repeating. Was 8 years of Bill Clinton worth "sending a message"? Some say yes, others no.

LOL, well given the TP just handed the libs their asses on a platter, what else would you expect this clown to say? Of course he wants the TP to go away because he knows what they will do to the Dems in Nov of 2012.

0bama loses any two way contest.
He doesn’t intend to run a two way contest.

All his campaigns up to president involved running unapposed, and many would say the 2008 election was in essence unapposed.

His only opposition was Clinton, and there were dirty Chicago tricks involved there as well.

Go ahead, GOP. Ditch the Tea Party - and become a permanent minority party or even a third party.

________________________________

I think that this is a bit of over-statement.

We did not win...we were thrown a bone, patted on the head and asked to go away.

The key to me was the GOP cave on extending this past the 2012 election. The numbers were never going to be meaningful to the big-picture problem. By taking the debt issue out of the election conversation we handed dear leader a small 'v' victory.

Wrong. The rep did not want it past 11/12 because they wanted Obama to face this again and with the Comm having to come up with new cuts it will be front and center by years end. With the Bush tax cuts also expiring at the end of 2012 that also will be front and center just before the election and Obama and the libs will have to defend raising taxes on the middle class if they insist on letting them expire.

The left got ZERO out of this, nothing of what they wanted.

The sad truth is that the elite in the republican party hate us and would destroy us if they had the power to do so.

As the saying goes, if you are catching the flack you are likely right over the target.
And what we currently see is the media mob, the screwy all politics all the time Dems, and the threatened career Repubs attacking and demonizing the Tea Party.
Spot on.

I like to watch the cable series “A 1000 ways to die” on Spike TV. I have seen how the leftist liberals influence the production of stories.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1000 Ways to Die

1000 Ways to Die is a docufiction television series that premiered on May 14, 2008 on Spike. The program recreates unusual supposed deaths and debunked urban legends[1] and includes interviews with experts who describe the science behind each death. Up until the end of season one, the final story of each episode showed actual footage of dangerous situations that almost ended in death, along with interviews with people involved in the situations. A portion of these deaths have been nominated for or have received a Darwin Award.

So if this racist radical pervert gets a platform what about the KKK? “Nazi skinheads”? Anarchists?

Their perspective has JUST as much validity as this affirmative action, no talent.
