Some people have posted here about legal issues in Alaska that is holding her back from announcing now. That there is a certain month that it has to be done so that she won’t get any ethics complaints filed against her..some kind of legal issue not sure what it is

Perhaps. But it could also have something to do with her Fox contract. Maybe something to do with the documentary still being in theaters.
