U.S. President Barack Obama hailed a positive jobs report on Friday but said more job growth is needed and predicted the situation will improve over time.

Commenting on a Labor Department report that 154,000 jobs were created in July and the jobless rate ticked down slightly to 9.1 percent, Obama said, "We've got to do better than that."

"We are going to get through this. Things will get better. and we're going to get there together," he said.

Obama, speaking to American veterans, said the U.S. economy has faced a tumultuous year and noted markets around the globe have had a bumpy ride.

As I was going up the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there.
He wasn’t there the other day,
I wish that he would go away.

Market goes down when this guy starts talking.

Who believes him?

Watch what he does - not what he says.

All kidding aside, that’s absolutely true.

Businesses won’t invest or hire until this guy is gone.

Investors aren't buying this MSM spin job. Even this article reads 154,000 jobs were created in July. That's a bald-faced lie. There is an average of 92,000 jobs a month during the past 3 months.

The good news, if he keeps doing what he is doing: he will virtually guarantee that he will be a one term president ~ no matter how big his war chest and no matter who he runs against.

The bad news, if he keeps doing what he is doing: we are all screwed!

Take a weak economy. Add a cup of higher employment costs, a teaspoon of higher energy costs. Add a dash of higher taxes (or the threat thereof). Mix in a pound of higher public debt. Sprinkle in a tablespoon of newly printed money. Bake in the oven of higher regulation at 450 degrees for two and a half years. If that isn’t a recipe for economic growth, I don’t what is. /sarc.

Oh, now he cares about unemployment (said he was going to extend it AGAIM) veterans and the aged.

Why go to work if you are being paid better money to stay home. More construction jobs for cronies and the same old BS. The I love and care about veterans? Really Obama, where have you been since you entered the WH?

He is going to make it seem like we need to re-elect him because he is the only one who can fix this mess. Get thee behind us satan, and get out of the WH while you’re at it!

He cited divisive U.S. debt talks, the Japan earthquake and tsunami, revolts in Arab countries and the European debt crisis as factors contributing to slack growth.

clueless

what about more freedom and less government, and letting the free market do its thing.

Obama said, "We've got to do better than that."

Yes we do. Like Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, Chris Christie, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann. Heck Obama, even Mitt Romney is at least better than what you've given us... and that's the truththththththththththth, as Lillian Tomlin used to say.

Notice Zer0 won’t tell us what are his plans? That’s because they are Marxist plans and he know that has to be done under the table because America won’t stand for it.

Well, I would kind of characterize The Tea Party as The earthquake that shook our political system and the tsunami that will carry away all the irresponsible policies and politicians that support those policies.

That said, it is Obama and Reid who held up progress in the Cut, Cap, and Balance bill that should be blamed. How more divisive can you get when it had bi-partisan support in the House and was desired by 66 percent of Americans!
