The corruption is so imbedded and widespread that if Issa ever does, it will likely take the whole government down.

I’m afraid you may be right. All politics aside (since this has likely been going on for some time)...something like this does seem to make sense. As a veteran and an American I can only hope it isn’t true. But I sure wouldn’t bet on it.
Democrats didn't waste a single second worrying about that when they went after Nixon over watergate. They could not have cared less.
But our side gets all worried about it.
I don't know if our Nation can survive the sheer volume of corruption we have in government at this point.
