I say everybody with any money and/or common sense boycotts Las Vegas until the nimrods there realize that it’s Slimey Harry that’s killing their economy and they do the right thing and vote this huge turd out of office. Just saying. He needs to be investigated, prosecuted and housed with all the rest of his ilk in a federal prison.

So, let me get this straight....

Dems and the WH are running to the nearest camera/microphone to say how S&P made an error by trillions in their calculations.

At the same time, they're using what they're calling an egregiously erroneous estimate to back their call for higher taxes.

Makes sense........

Of course he can’t understand that when you steal money from people then you kill economic activity. And when you spend all that stolen money on deadbeats, and the global socialist agenda then it is not productive in changing the real economic state of America.

This isn’t about taxes. It’s about Cloward-Pliven

It’s about destroying the USA to punish us for our “arrogance” and implement communism.

There are many to choose from but Reid has to be one of the most annoying rats ever. Lie after lie after lie falls in a whine through those pursed lips on his beady little mouth. ENOUGH!

It's the deficit spending, stupid. Once total debt exceeds GDP, we are pretty much screwed.

When Harry Reid took control of the Senate, our national debt stood at $8.6 trillion. Today, it is $14.4 trillion. That is an increase of 67% in just 5½ years. Yet Harry wants even more money to spend? These people are the worst enemies our Republic has seen in its entire history.

I read excerpts and it’s just as easy to say it backed call for spending cuts.

Basically, it backed a call to get the fiscal house in order, and tax increases wouldn’t do that. When you’re spending twice what you take in, revenue is not really the problem.

I have given up on the political class. I don’t trust any of them.

Reid, the punk, president, and all him dim minions missed the point. The intent of the downgrade was to reduce the debt by reducing spending.

When the SHTF, I hope to see Dingy Harry in prison.

The following are the perfect ingredients for a receipe for America’s downfall. It started many years ago when we began exporting manufacturing and jobs overseas. Couple that with out of control government spending, tens of millions of thridworlders invading our country, and a very soft underbelly comprised of an entitlement crowd in excess of 45% of the population.

Everybody who thinks Harry Reid is off base with his comment *clearly has not read* (or understood?) the S&P statement.

Harry Reid is technically correct - the S&P statement DOES mention tax increases THREE times in a favorable light. It does this while, at the same time, saying it is not favoring spending cuts over tax increases. But the subtext is clear - S&P believes that more taxes are necessary.

So, Reid is correct: S&P *has* echoed the democratic sentiment that we should raise taxes.

Now, whether or not that is the correct solution is still a point of contention. CLEARLY we have a spending problem, NOT a revenue problem, but S&P has not helped the situation with the text they released with their downgrade.

Pay attention people. You’re not going to win the debate by being misinformed.

Dingy Harry wants more revenue? How about the 50%+ of the US Population that presently pays ZERO in federal income tax gets a little skin in the game? Sound good to you Harry?

Is their any problem where the solution is NOT raising taxes or increasing government regulations in a Dem Senator or Representatives mind?

“This ‘DC’ analogy may hold as well...”

Superman may have recently been ‘downgraded’ to blue helmut status, but not to worry folks...

It’s SuperCommittee to the rescue!

Hoo, hoo....we are saved!

As I understand it, they will have the power to super select, from their own whittled ranks, the glorious UltraCommittee of five... whose mission will be to vote one more member off the Island of Responsibility... and those Fanstastic Four can then set about the serious business of anointing the Trinity of Budgetry... who will proclaim and prophesy the virtues of the Dynastic Duo... who will then don capes and tight shorts, dance the Ratusi until the other falls away... leaving The One!

Who will then decree himself to select a partner... to help him assemble a blue ribbon panel... whose job it will be to appoint a commission... which is to determine the best place and appropriate appetizers for a summit of experts in the field... who will be tasked with establishing a path to greater involvement of affected interests... at which time we will all be blessed with an opportunity to vote for a Congress that will DO THEIR F’ING JOB!

Oh crap, where’s that dang Kryp-TEA-nite wallet when I need it?

Why do the people in Nevada keep electing this idiot

We have the same problem in AZ with McLame. I think in the case of NV, the unions were told get out and vote for him or their job was on the line - at least one huge casino instructed employees thusly. Have no excuse for AZ and McLame.
