Dan Kapanke used to enjoy support from across the political spectrum because of his moderate image.

When you are "middle of the road", you just wind up getting run over....that's why there's no book called, "Great Moderates in History."

Update: DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND, a lib/socialist site, has installed webcams for many of its posters, and they have a collective hook up now by video, many of them demonstrating their reaction to this shocker of an election. Very historic. Live link HERE.

Sounds like the Tea Party needs to get back one of those seats in the next election.

One more Oz precinct just in, and about a 5000 vote cushion for Darling.

I am truly lucky in that respect — my entire family is staunch conservative. Especially the kids. ;)

It is also the first time I have listened extensively to Maddow and Shultz. It is painful to say the least. The selective reporting of information is astounding. The absence of any balance makes for very boring tv, IMHO.

I agree, it’s like watching episode of Twilight Zone..& i’m no supermodel, but libs are sure an unattractive bunch!

They wanted that nut AlGore to be their leader. He jumped the shark yesterday. They really need to reassess just what their beliefs are.

She is once more tampering with the results of a consequential election

In order to have done something "once more", she would have had to have done it before - which she did not.

It's unfortunate, but not surprise - this is the modern Democrat Party. Rather than accept legitimate defeat, they - again - instead chose to defame the character of a person just doing their job because they didn't like the results. Shameful and digusting doesn't being to describe it.

Shilling called the GOP majority “tenuous” and talked of working with GOP Sen. Dale Schultz of Richland Center to find compromise in the split chamber. Schultz voted against the collective bargaining changes, and Shilling predicted he will become an important factor in the chamber.

Dems looking for a WI Jim Jeffords or Arlen Spector?

Putting on some clothes that haven’t been washed in a year, getting out my Incan drum set and am patting out a rhythm to my chanting: “This is what democracy looks like”.. I just have to add a little more hippie stink and I got it..
