"Tea Party" candidate Kim Simac is running against Dem, Jim Holperin, but he has more than twice the warchest. He won election first in 2008 by 2,115 votes. She doesn't strike me as a great candidate but that election is the only real opportunity against the Dems.

Dems Robert Wirch & Dave Hansen won with almost 2/3rds the vote in 2008. Doesn't seem likely they'd be replaced.

All three Assembly members from Holperin’s area and their Congressional delegate are Republicans.

Our best bet for sure.
