Does this woman sound like she’s reading stories to children, or is that just me?

She's not good at followups either. She should have asked Romney if Congress rejected his new "unemployment system" would he then extend the current one beyond 99 weeks. Instead "Thank you".

Huntsman is the very definition of milquetoast. How pathetic. I would rather see Gary Johnson in the debates.

Fox is trying to be too cute and contraversial by half.

This debate is fuill of gotcha’s!

SARAH PALIN WINS BY NOT PARTICIPATING!

Just imagine how her colleagues would have tried to go after HER!

Obama has the *Youth* vote.....Why because he can brainwash them...Destroy the *Family* and you can brainwash the youth who will be the generation of tomorrow.....

As I said I like Sarah Palin but I want Obama out, and at this time I do not believe she can beat him, if she was running maybe I would change my mind, but she isn’t at least not on 8/11/2011...

My vote is for Perry and I will evaluate his campaign (As it goes forward) when he annouces this Saturday his run for POTUS...

The crowd doesn’t seem to ever cheer for mittens. That is a good thing. WTH is he talking about ....”personal accounts” instead of unemployment payments? Great idea....NOT!!

Huntsman didn’t really answer the question directly.

I love Michele but I wish she would stop with the "2 trillion dollar blank check" line.

If it's made out for a specific amount, it can't be a blank check.

Maybe she teaches elementary school.

Not much need for followups there. :)

Seems like the questions are designed to start a fight between the candidates so that they have footage to show on the news and maybe get CNN and other news networks to borrow their footage (advertisement for Fox)

I am very happy with all these candidates from their own perspective. What I am less than thrilled with are some of the comments by my fellow Freepers who either do not understand or misrepresent the positions of the debaters. Their minds were made up even before this began and, like Liberals, have been spending all their time maliciously personally attacking those with whom they do not agree

Michelle Bachmann answered the debt ceiling well. Bachmann was proved right by S & P over Fox News and their unamed analyst.

Sarah Palin is obviously not running. At least she has yet to announced. I doubt she will at this point. It would appear too conspicuous for her to jump in now given that it’s been rumored she would run for a few years now.

Yes, and we all know just how reliable rumors about Governor Palin are!
